MIXING
Mixing is my specialty and my passion. In addition to recording projects here at my studio I am happy to take your tracks that you either recorded yourself or at a local studio and give them a professional radio-ready mix and master. Optional mastering is included with mixing at no extra charge.
How Online Mixing Works
The online mixing process is simple.
Go ahead and send in a Quote Request as soon as possible in the process (before you even start tracking is best) so we can get in contact and I can be available to answer any questions you have and we can work together to make everything go as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Take your time to record it yourself at home or go to a local studio to get everything down and once you’re done you can simply upload all files via my secure upload server to be professionally mixed by myself.
Please be sure to read the Tracking Guide (before you start if possible) for recommendations on the best ways to record your tracks to get the best possible mix in the end. I am also available to give tracking advice if you have any questions after reading the guide. Just send me an email.
After all tracks are recorded, please read and follow the instructions in the Mix Prep Guide to organize and prepare all files for delivery in order to give you the best mix possible. Let me know if you have any questions.
I will send you a link to my secure file server to upload your files to be mixed and mastered. I will take my time usually over the course of 1-2 weeks to give your music the best treatment possible and once I have a first mix ready I will send that over for you to listen to and make notes on.
You can send me a list of any revisions/tweaks and I will make those quickly and send an updated version. We can go back and forth with that until you’re happy. Most artists are thrilled within 1-2 rounds of revisions. I also offer a special service of a remote live mix session where I will securely livestream the audio to you and we can talk and make any tweaks you have live to make sure you’re 100% happy with the mix.

'Remote Attended Session'
Livestream mix tweaks are the future.
I am very happy to be able to offer you a special and unique benefit: a remote ‘attended’ mixing session. One [optional] livestream session is included with all mixing projects at no extra charge.
In this remote session we will schedule a time that works for everyone and I will send you a special secure link to be able to livestream the high quality audio directly from my system. We can either chat online or talk on the phone as we play the songs back and go over any small details or concerns you might have and knock them out as we go. In this session I can also solo or mute certain elements so you can hear what is going on if there are any questions, which is not really practical or common to due in the normal practice of rendering and sending songs and then waiting for a reply. This process lends itself more to getting into the details and making micro-tweaks if that is something that you want to do.
Another benefit of this system is that you can hear the music in real-time on your own speakers/listening environment where you are comfortable and know what things should sound like as opposed to listening to my speakers in my room which you will not be as familiar with. That will lead everyone to make the most informed choices which will lead to the best mix. You can also send the livestream link to all of your bandmates/your producer/etc and we can group chat to make sure everyone’s points are addressed.
